Apply to the 2026 Bioinformatics Education Summit

GBES 2026 is a working meeting, and each attendee commits to being part of a working group that will develop products (e.g. curricula, publications, other resources). We therefore will evaluate each application before acceptance to the summit.
Spots in GBES 2026 are limited. To apply to attend either in person or virtually, please fill out this form. If approved, we will reach out with an invitation to register and next steps. Please do not make travel or any other plans to attend until you are invited to register.
Application reviews and approvals occur every two weeks and as quickly as possible for applicants that require visas.
The in-person attendance fee is $75 USD. Virtual attendance is free.
We are anticipating sponsorships that will allow us to support registration costs for all attendees employed at academic institutions.
